Legacy of Light is a program designed to honor and acknowledge loved ones lost to suicide through meaningful remembrance. As part of the Race to End Suicide, the program offers families and friends the opportunity to create a memorial photo that is displayed along the race route, serving as a visible tribute to the lives remembered and the impact they continue to have.

These memorials create a shared space of reflection, allowing participants and spectators alike to recognize those lost, while fostering a sense of connection, compassion, and understanding within the broader community.

Legacy of Light is intended to grow beyond the race, expanding over time to include additional opportunities for remembrance, storytelling, and community engagement—ensuring that each life is honored and remembered in enduring and meaningful ways.
